We left Tapachula, Mexico on Feburary 28th and entered Central America into Guatemala through Tecun Uman. This is an alternate route of the Pan American Highway.
From Guatemala, we passed through El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua (in one day), Costa Rica and into Panama to Panama City where we had to put the motorhome on a boat to get to South America.
Along the way we met several others driving to South America. From Panama on we were a loosly formed caravan consisting of two VW vans, 1 motorhome, 1 motorcycle and 2 cars.
On March 20th 16 of us flew from Panama to Colombia to retrive our vehicles.
