Motorhoming in Mexico

We spent just over a month living and driving in Mexico. Visiting Mazatlan, Guadalajara, Acapulco, Mexico City (twice) and Oaxaca. We would have liked to have spent more time there but money and the knowledge that we had to cross the Andes before the snow closed the Pan-American Highway between Chile and Argentina kept us moving .
The Mexico Travelog of Sanborn's was well used by the time we crossed into Central America. Every "vado" and "tope" was listed.
Some of most memorable things were the lagoon in Acapulco and the "Day of the Soldiers" in Mexico City. Events and places never to be forgotten.
